AI: Update - Amazon
The CEO of Amazon is confirming what I've shared about how AI will forever change our workforce.

Yet ANOTHER follow-up to Episode #109. In that episode, I wrote about how the coming AI wave will impact the world’s available jobs/career options. Today the CEO of Amazon told his staff that AI could lead to a smaller corporate workforce.
Notice the soft language? “Could lead” is code for “You should be prepared for this”. I just wish more leaders were straight about what’s already happening instead of pretending that it’s not *really* a thing and nothing to be worried about.
Fuck that: be honest with people and give them time to learn, train, and pivot. This is what I tried to do in Episode #109 with you all. So, from the bottom of my heart, when the CEO of Amazon says what he just said, believe him.
AI absolutely WILL lead to a smaller corporate workforce. And a smaller non-corporate workforce. And a smaller overall workforce across many, if not most, careers and industries.
